We awoke to rain, but it turned into the most beautiful day. After a delicious breakfast of pancakes and sausage we poked the closet monkey to finally go get ready.
Oh yeah right you don't know that story. The unit we are staying in has 2 bedrooms. This meant that Zack would sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. Instead, he took the mattress and brought it to the closet on the second floor. Now don't be concerned...it is air conditioned and has a light and he packs a cooler and snack bag. We even ran an extension cord so he can power his electronics. But if anyone remembers those trunk monkey commercials https://youtu.be/Rx6WB5YJia8 that is why we dubbed him the closet monkey.

Anyway, I digress. After breakfast we headed to the flea market. Kathy got 6 of her crystal shrimp cocktail bowls. Needless to say she was very happy.
After the flea market we headed to Delaware Water Gap. We went to get delicious frosted cinnamon raisin bread. Zack also got a carrot cake muffin, Andy got apple pie and a cinnamon roll, grandpa got an eclair, and grandma got a peanut butter torte. We decided to have lunch at the Apple pie Cafe. They have everything from Zack's berry salad, grandpa's chili and Cuban sandwich, Andy's mt. minsi burger, grandma's french onion soup and grilled cheese to Kathy's avocado, spinach, tomato and goat cheese omelette.  Delicious.
We took a ride to find the Indian Head in the mountain.....quite the controversy, but those who followed the Facebook poll...this is the correct answer....according to my parents.  

Next our journey took us to Country Junction.  Think of spags or klems on steroids.
But make sure you follow the yellow brick road....and push all the red buttons Zack. We had quite a few photo ops. Finally, Andy bought Kathy a brand new dining room table....needless to say she is very happy. We got ready to return back to the condo.

Disclaimer....this section of the blog is risque.......
While riding in the truck the glove box kept opening and hitting Kathy in the knees. Kathy kept slamming it shut.
Andy said "take it easy with my equipment."
Kathy replied "then keep it off my knees."
Zack said "wow Andy your equipment can reach way over there and mom stop complaining about it"
Kathy said "but it hurts when his equipment hits my knees."
Needless to say this continued all the way home including during dinner.  At the end grandpa said, "all I can say Andy is you are one lucky guy to have equipment like that and Kathy you are one lucky girl."
Grandma almost peed herself when Zack asked Andy what the problem was and he said "it (the glovebox) was fixed. Zack asked what the problem was and Andy said "it wasn't in straight!"

We had a delicious meal of homemade Philly cheese steaks and corn on the cob
. After dinner and cleanup, Zack went to his closet,grandma and grandpa watched TV and Kathy and Andy worked on a puzzle.
I love vacation except if I have to hear one more time I miss my shadow I'm going to scream!
