Today was a rainy cold day. Much of our plans involved outdoor activities so we decided to take the opportunity and sleep a little later. Unfortunately, Kathy is not enjoying the new mattresses and can barely walk today....and please don't anything on the floor....but that is the least of her problems....
Sometime during the night Kathy awoke to use the bathroom.....that is when the trouble occurred. There was a crack in the toilet seat. Well when Kathy say down the crack opened. The toilet seat viciously attacked her.bit clamped down on her leg. No matter how she moved it did not want to release it's blood thirsty bite. She was ready to scream out for help when apparently it had it's fill and released it's hold on her. She limped back to bed with a giant bruise on her leg.
Kathy had a very important appointment today. She was face timing an interview with a principal about a possible job. Grandma and Grandpa had a resort tour while Andy and Zack kept the maintenance r man busy. The interview seemed to go well..... everyone keep your fingers crossed.
So because of the interview and sleeping late we ate a late breakfast. Ham, egg and cheese scramble with raisin bread. Think we are going to have to go back to the bakery soon. After the interview and tour we had a lunch of chicken salad wraps for the guys and grilled chicken salads for the girls. Now we we're forced to what to do in the rain....so many places we thought of are closed on Mondays. We decided to take a ride into New Jersey to participate in an escape room. We escaped from Alcatraz. We had over 10 minutes left!!!!
We drove back to the resort and went to Wintergreen's grill for a all you can eat pasta bar cooked in front of you. It was delicious but nobody could go back for more. At the condo Kathy and Andy finished their puzzle. Kathy soaked in the jacuzzi tub.....but poor Andy got locked in the bathroom and had to call for someone to get him out. Hopefully tomorrow is a better bathroom day. Lol.
